Harriett Southall-

Registered Nutrition Practitioner DipCNM, mBANT, rCNHC

Registered with the British Association for Nutrition & Lifestyle (BANT), Harriett graduated as a Nutritional Therapist and a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity, having studied at The College of Naturopathic Medicine & The National Centre For Eating Disorders approved by The British Psychological Society (BPS). Harriett is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Intuitive Eating and Motivational Interviewing.

Harriett has experience working in a variety of speciality areas including chronic dieting, restrictive eating disorders, neurodiversity and gastrointestinal issues.

Meet Harriett

My passion for health and nutrition stemmed from my own personal disordered relationship with food, chronic digestive issues and hormonal imbalances. I spent the best part of 10 years being controlled by food, riddled with poor body image, negative self talk and poor mental health.

I have been where you are, and that is why I am so passionate about helping you to find food and body peace. It doesn’t matter how long you have been suffering, I believe that you CAN help you to move towards the life you want to live.

My focus is always on inclusion. I combine my knowledge of nutrition, psychology and my personal experience to support you through your journey.

 
 

THE ROOTED LIVING APPROACH

In my six years of clinical experience, I’ve learned that simply telling someone what they should or shouldn’t eat often creates resistance and leads to less lasting change. Most behaviors people struggle with serve a purpose, so rather than focusing on eliminating them, we create a safe space where you can learn healthier coping strategies and feel empowered to no longer rely on those behaviors.

Together, we’ll explore your personal values and passions, setting meaningful goals that guide you toward the life you truly want to live. If you think healthy changes require strict rules and endless willpower, I’m here to show you a different approach. I’ll teach you how to trust your body and feel confident in nourishing it, without rigid rules or restrictions.
